3. What are the fees for your general overview course for children and teens?
For our general overview courses for children and teens that run through the school year, tuition for the academic year is USD 375. This works out to USD 15/class for a total of 25 classes between September and June. Students may join at any point in the school year, with fees prorated accordingly. Once registered for the class, we ask that students commit for the remainder of that academic year.
Fees for adult classes are similar to the above on a per class basis but may differ somewhat in terms of the overall tuition fee, depending on the length of the course and number of sessions.
4. What is the cost of your special topics courses?
For courses we custom design for educational institutions and community organizations, we determine the cost based on the number of sessions desired and other details. Please note that we are mission-driven so we do our best to make our programming reasonable in cost and within your budgetary constraints.
5. May students try a course before committing?
We are open to students sitting in on one or two classes without charge to try our program.
6. Being an online program, are your classes open to students anywhere in the US or elsewhere? UK? Middle East? South Asia?
Our classes are open to English-speaking students anywhere in the world.
7. What is the timing for the general overview classes for children and teens living in North America, Europe and the Middle East?
Our classes for students aged 8 to 17 years take place on Sundays in the morning and afternoon (East Coast time, EST; New York/Boston) during the US school year (which runs from September to June). Classes for our younger student groups (ages 8 to 11 years) last 40 minutes. Classes for our older group (ages 12 to 17 years) last 1 hour. Students from the West Coast of the US and from Europe and the Middle East join us at our regular Sunday times.
8. What is the timing for students living in other regions of the world?
When we serve adult students or students in other time zones, we add classes at times compatible with those regions of the world. Our classes for schools and institutions are customized to the needs of those organizations and regions in terms of timing.
